The Dartmouth Police Department will have a drug collection unit installed at police headquarters.

Police say the unit is being paid for through a grant provided by CVS/pharmacy and will be located in the Dartmouth Police Department lobby and is available to the public 24/7 year round.

Residents will be able to drop off unwanted or expired medication, including controlled substances with no questions asked.

Dartmouth Police credited State Representaive Chris Markey with helping them to obtain the grant.
