Despite increased precipitation in November, large portions of the state continue to experience a water deficit.

The State Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs says a drought warning continues in Southeastern Massachusetts, which indicates more than six consecutive months of groundwater and stream levels being below normal, and larger reservoirs below normal levels as well.

The Baker-Polito Administration continues to urge the public to conserve water usage.
