The New Bedford Educators Association says it has "no confidence" in the leadership of school Superintendent Dr. Pia Durkin, and they're asking her to resign. Union members voted overwhelmingly against the Superintendent over a four day period.

Supt. Pia Durkin says she has no intention of resigning. Durkin says she'll continuing to focus on the job ahead; taking steps to improve New Bedford schools. She tells WBSM's Taylor Cormier, no one should be surprized she's pushing for change....

Durkin says she'll listen to anyone with ideas on ways to improve the school system.

Durkin admits she's made mistakes, but so has the union, and its time to more foreward.
