New Bedford Police have arrested a Dorchester woman and charged her with breaking into a home of Jenny Lind Street. 

Police were called to 149 Jenny Lind around 7:30am after a home alarm sounded.   Investigators determined the home had been broken into through a side window.  According to Capt. Steve Vicente, a small quanitity of bllod was found inside and outside the home.

A neighbor said he saw a woman leaving the property carrying a large red bag. Another witness saw the woman get into a Star cab, and that cab took her to a location on Monroe Drive.

Police found the woman inside along with suspected stolen property, including a computer, leather jacket and camera.  Police say she also had cuts on her hand.

31 year old Daniella McClure of Dorcester was charged with Breaking and Entering and Larceny and will be arraigned in New Bedford District Court.
