Do people have hobbies anymore? We were talking on the air this morning when Neal White said he used to have a complete train set in his basement, but when he tried to get his son into it, he had no interest.

That got me wondering.

I used to collect baseball cards, then records. When there was a new hit song, I just had to have it. My brother used to make models, either airplanes or cars. I can still remember the smell of that glue. Not that I was sniffing. Friends flew kites, some made kites. I knew people that had ant farms, collected coins or stamps. But you don't see that anymore. Now it seems kids spend their time on video games or getting the latest app.

If you know of someone with an interesting hobby, let me know.
