While driving through Boston for a family wedding this weekend - I had a great time by the way, thanks for asking -  I was surprised to see the latest warning signs they have on the southeast expressway.

They have the message boards with a warning displayed, "Wearing headphones while driving is prohibited." Or, "only one ear-bud allowed and for cellphone use only." Now I know you might say, "Well Pete, people should not drive with headphones on." I KNOW! EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW! WE HAVE TO BE TOLD?????

I assume more and more people are listening to music on their mp3 players and instead of plugging them in to an "aux" jack on their radio they must be wearing headphones or ear buds, but sometimes I just can't get over the things people have to be told because they can't figure it out on their own.

I'll check the hardware store this week to see if the hammer displays have a sign that says "Hitting yourself in the head with this might hurt."
