Sean Lowe was featured on the 17th season of "The Bachelor." There, he found love and his current wife in Catherine, one of the contestants. I never considered this show to be one of substance, but these two have me second guessing my judgement.

In this video entitled, "Can Someone Be Your Soulmate?" Sean and Catherine explore love and interpret God's plan for each of us. Sean makes it clear that the term itself is romanticized, and you can set yourself up for failure by doubting your feelings for someone. But he does say that God "also can place people in your life which He intends for you to meet because he knows that they would be a good match for you."

So is it possible for "The One" to exist, or is it entirely up to us to seek our own destiny, and in turn love?

I have asked myself this question many times. I used to believe in the elusive "One" that every person is meant for. As if God had every little moment of our lives orchestrated so that two people will meet and fall in love and that was that. But now I think it's a bit of both. Now I know love is not found, it's fought for. There is no doubt in my mind that God lets us know who is right for us in His own little way, but it's up to us to take advantage of the opportunity that He gives us. When you find "The One," you still have to choose to love him or her every single day. It won't always be the easy choice, but it's better than leaving it up to fate.
