Disabled Veterans Raise Flags for 9/11 Victims

Local disabled veterans raised flags today in remebrance of those who perished in the 9/11 attacks eleven years ago, and those who have served overseas since that fateful day.
The disabled vets gathered on Willis Street in New Bedford to raise the flags, holding prayers, moments of silence, and singing songs honoring all those involved in the War on Terror.
Vietnam vet Cecil Hickman of the local Disabled Veterans Chapter 7 tells WBSM News younger veterans who have served in the most recent wars are many times unaware of benefits they may be eligible for.
