Did You See “Les Mis?” What Do You Think?

Where you one of the many that went to the Christmas opening of the movie "Les Miserables"?

The movie version of the Broadway favorite opened in theaters around the country and I am hearing great reviews. One Facebook friend said, "After a movie the ushers usually sweep up the popcorn, for "Les Mis" they sweep up the Kleenex." I guess it brings a tear to the eye.

If you've seen it, what did you think? I'd especially like to read some comments from our local theater goers. Does it match up to the stage production?
