Despite Being on the New York Yankees, Kevin Youkilis Says He’ll ‘Always be a Red Sox’
The Boston Red Sox let Kevin Youkilis slip away from them in the 2012 season, and now he's a member of the rival New York Yankees. However, Youk isn't soon forgetting about his time with Boston.
Youkilis officially signed with the Yankees back in December, but in a recent interview he said that he will always be a Red Sox. That's something that made Yankee fans that were already skeptical about Youkilis putting on pinstripes a bit more skeptical.
After the intital comments Youkilis tried to clear things up a bit by saying that what he meant is that he'll always be a Red Sox, and a White Sox - It's all a part of his history. He admitted that the 'always be a Red Sox' comment probably didn't look so good and he'll have to watch what he says.
