Yum! Here's a really fun, easy and tasty recipe that the kids (and adults) will love to make and eat! Deep fried Kool-Aid Balls are a novelty and a snack perfect for those days when the kids are stuck inside. I like the Cherry flavor because it's pronounced and the pink color makes them pleasurable, but choose your favorite flavor.

Heat oil to 360 degrees

The recipe is so simple: To one box of white cake mix add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Mix the ingredients until smooth. Now add the .16 oz envelope of any flavor Kool-Aid and blend it into the batter. Now just take a mini ice cream scoop, and carefully squeeze out a dollop of mix into the hot oil and fry, turning the fritter so each side cooks evenly. Three minutes is the average cooking time.

Sprinkle some powdered sugar over them or if you want to make an easy glaze instead, just mix 2 tablespoons water into 1 cup of powdered sugar and mix until thoroughly mixed. Ice the Kool-Aid balls to taste.

If you want an extra kick, before powdering the Kool-Aid balls, roll them in additional Kool-Aid! Let me know what you think!
