The death toll from the train derailment in north Philadelphia is now up to six.

Dr. Herbert Cushing of Temple University Hospital said this morning that one of the people taken there with a massive chest injury died.

He added that 25 people were treated and released, while 25 others are still at the hospital receiving treatment.

Cushing remarked that many of the victims said they were hurt when people and objects fell on them.

The NTSB is expected to investigate what caused the Amtrak train from Washington, DC to New York City to derail.
