FALL RIVER — The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says a body found on I-195 in Fall River on Tuesday morning appears to be the result of an apparent suicide.

Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for the DA's Office, says the body of a 38-year-old woman was found in the breakdown lane on I-195 West just under the South Main Street overpass at around 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Miliote says the cause of death appears to be a suicide.

The Herald News reports that Fall River Police were seen towing a vehicle from South Main Street at 7:45 a.m. The car was parked just above where the woman's body was found.
