Deadly Night in NB Saturday

New Bedford police are investigating a homicide in the city of New Bedford  Saturday night that left a 31-year-old man dead.

Police responded to reports of gunshots near Winsor and Crapo Streets around 11:45pm Saturday. They found 31-year-old Sharone Stafford of New Bedford lying on Winsor Street near the Crapo Street intersection. He was pronounced dead at St. Luke's Hospital.

An autopsy will be performed to determine exact cause of death.
