The Massachusetts Gaming Commission told K.G. Urban Entertprises that they must give the Commission financial information on their proposed New Bedford Casino by June 9th or they will be out of contention for the Region C Casino license.

KG Urban Managing Director Andrew Stern disputed claims they had received an extension and expressed confidence they will meet that deadline.

Stern also said he doesn't think it's likely that the Mashpee Wampanoag trust will be able to get land into federal trust given current case law.

Stern also says New Bedford's seaside location will make their casino a more desirable tourist destination.
