We learned earlier this week that David Ortiz was still dealing with some pain from an Achilles strain. He had an injection on Monday, and now it looks like he’s ready to start practicing again. Good news for a Boston team that needs some offense.

Ortiz took BP on Tuesday, and said that his Achilles tendon wasn’t sore at all. After testing the waters for the rest of this week, Ortiz hopes that he’s ready for Sunday against the Cleveland Indians.
