DA’s Office Asks For Public’s Help In Fatal Somerset Crash

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office is asking for the public's help in the investigation of a fatal crash Friday on Interstate 195 in Somerset.

The crash killed 55-year old Philip Imprescia of Fall River.  State Police say Imprescia's 2001 Ford Explorer was traveling westbound  between exits 3 and 4 when the driver swerved to avoid a file cabinet in the road.  The vehicle rolled over and Imprescia was was ejected.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses say they saw a blue pick-up truck carrying file cabinets pulled over on the side of the highway near exit 3 following the crash. Two caucasian men were seen outside the truck.

The DA's office  says if anyone saw the blue pickup truck, knows who was operating the truck, or has any information about the case, they are urged to call the Massachusetts State Police in Dartmouth at 508 993-8373.
