Dartmouth High School's Jacob "JT" Rose intercepted a pass with 13 seconds remaining, and the Indians held on for a 14-7 victory Saturday over Melrose in the Division III Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium.

Junior running back Chris Martin rushed for 215 yards and scored a first quarter touchdown to give the Indians the lead. Running back Alex Tisddelle, also a junior scored another early touchdown and the Dartmouth defense did the rest, holding Melrose to one touchdown in the second quarter.

Chris Martin was immense throughout the game, and nearly scored a second touchdown on a breakaway run in the fourth quarter.  However Martin was caught at around the ten yard line and fumbled, turning the ball over to Melrose, deep in their own territory.

Melrose moved the ball up the field, but Rose essentially sealed the win with his interception with 13 seconds to go.

Coach Rick White's Indians finished their historic season at 11-2.
