Dartmouth To Debate Town Government Changes
The Dartmouth Selectboard wants to know if residents still want a change in town government, and if so, what changes do they want.
Selectboard member Michael Watson says town residents supported change on a non-binding ballot question last year. Some favored a Mayor-Town Council format, while others wanted to stick with the Selectboard-Town Meeting style of government.
The Selectboard has scheduled a public hearing for next Monday night, the 27th. The board is inviting town residents to attend and offer their iideas on the future of town government.
