The Dartmouth Selectboard Monday night appointed three more members to the Police Building Committee.  .

The Selectboard had named the first seven members last month.

The current Police Station In Dartmouth was closed after hazardous bacteria was found in its water system.  The Police Department is being housed in trailers located in the station's parking lot.

The Police Building Committee will be studying the existing Russells Mills Road facility, estimating rehabilitation costs, or starting plans for a new police station.

Edward Pimental Jr. was among the three members appointed during last night's meeting. Pimental served on multiple town boards in the past and has lived in Dartmouth for sixty-one years.

Also appointed to the committee were John Furtado and Joan Underwood.
