Dartmouth voters got the chance to meet the candidates seeking a seat on the Select Board Wednesday night during the Dartmouth Rotary Club's annual Candidates Night.

The hour-long forum gave residents the opportunity to ask candidates questions about current and future issues.

One issue is the town's economic future.

Candidate Kelli Taglianetti says it starts with government spending.

Taglianetti is running against Kathleen Fentress for one of two available seats on the Select Board.

Fentress says it's also important for the town to look at where is can make money.

Finance Committee Chairman Frank Gracie is running unopposed for the second available seat on the the Select Board and also fielded questions from voters.

He says it's important residents know where he stands on issues because he will ultimately be on the Board.

The two seats are made available due to Sara Stone and Mike Watson not seeking re-election during the town's annual election on April 7.
