Dartmouth Police Identify Fatal Crash Victim

Dartmouth Police have released the identity of the man who died after crashing his car in the town yesterday.

50-year-old John Terceira of Dartmouth was killed yesterday after he apparently lost control of his vehicle, which struck several trees and a utility pole at the 700 block of Old Fall River Road.

Terceira was transported to St. Luke's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

An initial investigation by Dartmouth Police says wet roads and speed were contributing factors to the crash. Police are continuing their investigation.
