Dartmouth Police Arrest Fugitive

Dartmouth Police arrested a fugitive early Thursday morning on Russells Mills Road.

At approximately 1:50 a.m., police encountered 22-year-old Kayla Medeiros of Westport walking in the middle of the road. After an extended check, it was revealed that Medeiros currently had an active extraditable warrant out of Rhode Island for narcotics offenses.

Medeiros was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice.
