The Dartmouth Police Department is never short of feel good stories. Just yesterday, they posted this photo of a man did not have to give a second thought to doing the right thing. According to the post:

"Citizen of the Day: Please join the members of DPD as we acknowledge and thank Robert Perry for the strong moral principles that he displayed this morning while shopping at Shaw's.

While retrieving a shopping carriage, Mr. Perry found a bank deposit sleeve that contained a substantial amount of money. Without hesitation, Mr. Perry contacted us, and we were able to successfully locate its rightful owner. Great job Mr. Perry!!!"

Chief Levesque commends this honorable man, saying, "It's both reassuring and refreshing to know that people of Mr. Perry's caliber are still out there setting a great example for others to learn from."

The owner of the bank deposit sleeve, who wishes to remain anonymous, was very happy to have their money returned to them.
