NEW BEDFORD — A Dartmouth man has been arrested after causing a disturbance outside of a bank in New Bedford's North End on Saturday.

Police responded to the Santander Bank at 909 Ashley Boulevard at about 8:46 a.m. on Saturday for a report of a man causing a disturbance outside of the branch.

New Bedford Police say that when officers arrived, they found Jacob Resendes, 24, of 4 Country Acre Road, Dartmouth, oustide of the branch and being verbally abusive. Police searched Resendes and found cocaine in his possession.

Resendes is charged with disorderly conduct and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
