DARTMOUTH - A Dartmouth man has been arrested for carjacking.

Dartmouth Police say an 18-year-old man entered the Dartmouth Police Headquarters Sunday evening and said he was driving his 2002 Volkswagen Passat with an acquaintance earlier that day when the passenger assaulted him and took possession of the car.

Soon after the report, police spotted the stolen car and arrested the driver, 20-year-old Kodie Lefevre of 787 Tucker Road in Dartmouth.

Lefevre is charged with carjacking, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, and assault and battery.
