Dartmouth Cumberland Farms Robbed

Dartmouth Police are searching for a man in connection with an early morning robbery. According to Detective Kyle Costa, the Cumberland Farms on Dartmouth Street in the town was robbed at gunpoint around 4am this morning.

The clerk described the suspect as an unshaven white male about 6' tall, weighing about 170 lbs, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a baseball hat. According to the clerk, the man revealed a silver, semi-automatic handgun tucked in his waistband, and demanded cash from the register as well as three cartons of cigarettes. The man took the cash and the smokes, and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Dartmouth, New Bedford, and State Police units have been unable to locate the suspect. The robbery remains under investigation.
