DA, Taunton Police Search For Hit And Run Vehicle

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office is asking for the public's help in locating the driver of a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, that struck a pedestrian Thursday night in Taunton and then fled the scene. The incident happened at the intersection of Harrison Street and Harrison Avenue around 8pm. The victim is a 34 year old Berkley man. He's listed in critical, but stable condition at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Police obtained a photo of the suspect's vehicle from a nearby surveillance camera. Anyone who can identify the vehicle should contact Taunton Police at 508 824-7522.
