Custody Battle Brewing For Remy Girl

A custody battle is brewing over the granddaughter of Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy. Five-year-old Arianna Remy has been in foster care since her mother Jennifer Martel was killed last year, allegedly by the girl's father Jared Remy. Paternal grandparents Phoebe and Jerry Remy have filed a court petition seeking custody. They're battling maternal grandparents Patricia and Brian Martel. On Monday the Martels issued a statement saying their focus is on the child, and that they have no comment on Jerry Remy's return to the Red Sox announcer's booth.
