On January 13, 2016, from 5 to 7pm, the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce will host an information session on a week-long trip to Cuba.

The information session will take place at the chamber office at 794 Purchase Street in New Bedford.

The trip to Cuba will take place from September 8-15 in 2016 and it will include one night in Miami, two nights in Trinidad, and four nights in Havana.

According to the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce, the trip will include 17 total meals, a ceramic studio visit and hands-on pottery demonstration, Manaca Iznaga’s ex sugar factory and estate tour, a salsa dance lesson, lunch in a typical Cuban restaurant, a visit to the Playa Giron Museum to learn about the Bay of Pigs invasion from a local expert, and a drive though the street of Havana to dine aboard a classic American Car.

The trip is estimated to cost $2,849 per person double occupancy and includes airfare from Boston to Miami, and the international flight to Cuba.
