A Taunton school bus was stuck on the road Tuesday morning after another car hit a utility pole.

Fire officials say that at around 7 a.m. a car struck a utility pole near 35 Fremont St.

The crash caused a telephone wire to land on the bus, forcing it to stay in its location.

Taunton Fire responded to the scene to deal with the downed wire.

The bus wasn't involved in the original crash and was able to go on its way, no injuries were reported.
