Many people were angered to see Dallas Cowboys nose tackle on the sideline of Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Turns out Cowboy officials weren't exactly expecting him to be there.

Josh Brent was in a car crash due to drunk driving, where he was intoxicated twice above the legal limit. That result of that crash also took the life of his teammate Jerry Brown.Brent is charged with intoxication manslaughter.

People were speculating after Sunday's game exactly who allowed Brent to be on the field after this horrible incident. Cowboys' officials say they were actually surprised to see him there.

Head coach Jason Garrett says they were just honoring the wishes of Jerry Brown's mother who wants the team to support Brent.Brent left the game after the third quarter because he didn't want to be a distraction.
