Council President Duarte Sets Priorities

New City Council president Bruce Duarte Jr. says he wants to put New Bedford people to work. Duarte is also demanding that the Mitchell administration provide the Council with more timely information, before the Council approves financial transfers. Duarte is the first Ward Four Councilor to serve as president in 28 years.
