Correia Edges Sutter to Win Fall River Mayoral Race

In a stunning upset, 23-year-old Fall River City Councillor Jasiel Correia has defeated Mayor Sam Sutter in the City's election.

Correia garnered 8,268 votes with Sutter earning 7,621, A 52 to 48 percent margin.

Sutter won the office only ten months ago in a special election against former mayor Will Flanagan, who was recalled in December of 2014.
