New Bedford Narcotics Detectives carry out a drug raid Monday night at 1242 Pleasant Street, make an arrest, and recover seven pit bull puppies and three adult pit bulls.  Animal Control Officer Manny Maciel tells WBSM News, the puppies were badly malnourished.  He called the incident, back-yard breeding at its worst. Police say the investigation is continuing, but Macial says he believes the dogs were being bred to be sold.  Police arrested 25 year old Christopher Fuhs of Tallman Street.  He'll face several drug charges and seven counts of animal cruelty.  The dogs were brought to a veterinarians clinic.
