Convenience Store Robbery

Robbery Suspect[/caption]Another convenience store is robbed in New Bedford. Early Friday morning, a black male entered the Cumberland Farms Store at 810 Rockdale Avenue and pretended to be shopping until all the customers left the store. He then displayed a wooden handled saw and demanded money from the 49 year old male clerk. He fled heading easterly on Kempton Street with an undetermined amount of cash. The weapon he used in the robbery was found discarded around the corner from the business. The suspect is described as a black male in his 40's with short black hair..He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.
