Connecticut School Shooter Indentified As 24-Year-Old Ryan Lanza, But Is He The Guy?

The tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut might be one of the worst we have ever seen, but is one man being unfairly blamed?

Fox News is saying that the suspected shooter at Sandy Hook elementary school was a 24 year old man named Ryan Lanza. he was originally from Newtown, CT, but was living in Hoboken, NJ. His mother was a teacher at the school.

Many news networks jumped the gun on this story, and immediately started posting this mans photo. This is not the shooter. Ryan Lanza was reported as the shooter, but officials quickly corrected themselves to say that it was in fact Adam Lanza, not Ryan.

Gawker was the first to report on the mix up. The man who broke the story via twitter now has a protected file, as he was ambushed with followers.
