A fugitive from justice out of Connecticut is arrested in New Bedford.

Police say Connecticut Parole Officers notified the New Bedford Police Department that 43-year-old Todd Tirrell Billins may be in New Bedford in violation of parole. Billins was also wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Middletown, Connecticut in mid-April.

New Bedford and State Police, along with the U.S. Marshall's Office found the suspect sleeping in an apartment at 35 Linden Street Tuesday morning. He was arrested without incident and has been arraigned in New Bedford District Court. Billins is being transferred to Connecticut authorities.
