McDonald's

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the new "food hack" technique of deep-frying a Big Mac. I mentioned one of the supposed secret menu items that I've enjoyed in the past, but there had never really been any official word from within McDonaldland that there was indeed a secret menu.

Until now.

Last week, a current McDonald's manager took to reddit last week for an AMA (Ask Me Anything) and naturally the subject of the secret menu came up. The manager admitted that yes, there is a secret menu, and yes, you can order off it. The workers may not know the nicknames for the meals, but they'll put together the ingredients as long as you're paying for it (they refer to them as "grill orders").

The manager confirmed many of the items that had existed in rumors for many years, and that's all the incentive I need to try some of these ridiculous meals.

There are some that sound relatively benign, like the McKinley Mac (basically just a Big Mac made with quarter-pounder patties instead of the regular burgers) or the Poor Man's Big Mac (a doctored-up McDouble).

But I want to try some of the more "challenging" meals, like the Land, Sea and Air Burger (combining a McChicken, a Big Mac and a Filet-o-Fish) and the highly sought-after but difficult to obtain Mc10:35 (an Egg McMuffin with two burger patties included). What makes it so hard is that you can only get it in that wonderous, weird world of the in-between from 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., when McDonald's is wrapping up breakfast and beginning to roll out lunch.

So which sandwich would YOU consider trying (or have tried)?
