Computer and Gaming Console Stolen From New Bedford Hotel

NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police are investigating after an apparent theft from a waterfront hotel.

Staff at the Fairfield Inn and Suites at 185 MacArthur Drive told police a computer and a Nintendo gaming system had gone missing from a hotel office over the weekend. The theft was reported at 8:02 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the person responsible for the theft may have gained entry through an unlocked door.
