Fairhaven's Board of Selectman chair says the Town is working towards a resolution with Fairhaven Wind over the two wind turbines. Charlie Murphy says after meeting with other Town heads, Fairhaven Wind representatives, and the Mass. DEP Wednesday, an official compromise is being worked on.

The Town ordered the turbines shut down at night after receiving numerous complaints of sleep disturbance and other ailments.

Murphy tells WBSM News Fairhaven Wind seems eager to put the issue at ease.

Murphy says Fairhaven Wind is expected to submit a formal proposal for a plan of action by the end of the week.

The Board of Health and Board of Selectmen will meet in executive session Monday evening to review the proposal.
