A regular at the Dean Martin Roasts, comedy legend Jonathan Winters has passed away at the age of 87-years-old.

A source close to the Winters' family confirms that late Thursday night Jonathan Winters passed away of natural causes.

Winters was a comedy titan, and a master of improv. His show, 'The Jonathan Winters Show' in the 50's was groundbreaking. He inspired such acts as Robin Williams, Jim Carrey and more. He was also famous for his appearances on 'The Scooby Doo Movies' in the 70's as well as 'Mork and Mindy'. Winters worked all the up until his death as the voice of Papa Smurf in the Smurfs movie of 2011, and the upcoming sequel in 2013.
