Cocaine Bust at Dartmouth Motor Inn

DARTMOUTH - A cocaine distribution service is busted after police raid a room at the Dartmouth Motor Inn.

New Bedford Police carried out a search warrant at the Dartmouth Motor Inn at 571 State Road in Dartmouth shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday, searching room 157.

Inside the room, police found 1.8 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials, and $3,012 in cash.

New Bedford Police Narcotics Unit detectives arrested the occupant of the room, Johana Santiago Gonzalez, 40.

Gonzalez is charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.
