Coakley Calls For Child Abuse Unit

Attorney General Martha Coakley is calling for a child abuse unit within the Department of Children and Families. She says the agency's twin goals of protecting children and keeping families together are often contradictory. Coakley says the proposed unit would have a singular focus on the welfare of the child. Coakley is one of five Democratic candidates for governor.
