Closing arguments in the Fairhaven Board of Health Election race case were preseneted Tuesday in New Bedford Superior Court were presented but not before a Standard Times reporter was called to the stand to testify about what she saw on election night in the Town Cerks office. Following the reporter's testimony, the attorney's for Peter Deterra and John Wethington made their arguments to Judge Robert Kane about whether to call for a new election or put the election's fate in the hands of an appeals court. Meanwhile during closing arguments, Fairhaven Town Counsel Thomas Crotty asked Judge Kane for a new election in the Board of Health race. The judge said he will issue his ruling on Monday at 3 p.m.
