Job training money is coming to New Bedford to boost the skills of low and moderate income young people interested in careers in the offshore wind industry.

The Mass. Clean Energy Center awarded the $250,000 grant to the New Bedford E-D-C and Bristol Community College.

Community organizer John Andrade applauds the grant.  He sees it as another way to help New Bedford residents secure jobs  in the wind industry.....

The program runs for two years and is open to low and moderate income people between 16 and 24.
