"Walk With Ease", a new program being rolled out by the New Bedford Parks, Recreation, and Beaches department looks to bring relief to those dealing with the everyday symptoms of arthritis.

The new program starts up next week with one-hour sessions taking place twice a week.

Parks and Rec. Assistant Director Ross Moran tells WBSM's "Mid-Day Live" the city received a $4,000 grant from the National Recreation and Park Association and the Arthritis Foundation to get the program up and running.

Participants can expect 15 to 20 minutes of walking per session, accompanied by other light exercises.

The sessions take place Tuesday mornings at 9am at the Buttonwood Warming House, and Thursdays at 9am at the Fort Taber Community Center.
