Fall River officials got to take an up close look at Amazon's new wish fulfillment center during a tour of the facility on Tuesday.

Construction is still ongoing at the 1 million square foot facility with the roof recently installed.

The building's construction follows four years of negotiation between city officials and the company that involved three different mayoral administrations.

City officials tell ABC6 the center is set to open this fall making it the company's first fulfillment center in Massachusetts.

Amazon says 500 full time workers will be employed there and over the next couple of months jobs will be posted.
