Child And Family Services Offers Help For Pregnant Young Women

New Bedford Police and the District Attorney's office continue to investigate the discovery Friday of a deceased newborn baby girl.  Her body was found under a porch outside a County Street home, near Adams Street.

The tragic discovery has shocked many people, including staffers at New Bedford Child and Family Services.....

Speaking on WBSM's "Taylor Cormier Show," Child and Family's Catherine Rodrigues said her agency works hard every day to educate pregnant young women that they are not alone. Child and Family offers a number of services, including counseling and support groups for young mothers.
