After being released from jail for domestic battery charges, he has officially been released by the Dolphins. This move coming less than a month of being signed by Miami.

Miami coach Joe Philbin said that it was a tough decision, but the termination of Johnson’s contract had nothing to do with the weekend incident. Some players think differently, and are disappointed that the team didn’t get behind Johnson after the incident.
